Vertical transport
Vertical transport saves space
Save money by making the most of the space at your location. This can be done with vertical transport, for example with the use of a drop station or a crate lift. We visit your location, where we map the space and your wishes.
The engineers then set to work on the design of the vertical transport system. Maximum efficiency is a key design objective. Using vertical transport saves space in your intralogistics process. Valuable space that you can use for your production process. We see it as a challenge to find the ideal solution in internal logistics for every situation and every space.
We have already supplied many customized vertical conveyor belts, particularly for the poultry, fishand meatindustries.
Primary vertical transport
Our conveyor belts can transport both horizontally and vertically and in all other desired angles: The infeed angle of our foodsafe conveyor belts is unlimited.
Depending on your product, we determine the best solution for this. A straight, ascending shape is possible for this vertical transport, or you can opt for a Z-conveyor, where both the input and the output are horizontal. Is a ramped curved track the ideal shape for your vertical transport? This construction form is also possible. Our conveyor belts for vertical transport also meet the high hygiene requirements and are very easy to clean.
Crates Drop Station
The Van Leeuwen Techniek crate drop station can be built up to a height of 10 metres. Crates can be transported individually or in low stacks from top to bottom.
Our drop stations are particularly popular with poultry, fish and meat customers due to our hygienic design and simplicity of the cleaning process.
The crate drop station is suitable for transporting crates such as CBL crates, E1/E2/E3 and nestable crates, used in the food industry.
Crate lift
Van Leeuwen Techniek has developed various types of crate lifts. The basic principle of the crate lift is that the transport of crates or boxes to different levels is realized in a simple way. The crate lift can be built up to a height of 10 meters and uses a small surface area, so that you can make optimal use of the space in the production hall.
Choose a continuous lift with the paternoster principle or a crate lift with an up and down roller conveyor for your crates. Our engineers will work with you to determine which lift is most suitable for your internal logistics.
What customers say
‘Thinking in solutions. This is reflected in Van Leeuwen Techniek. Due to the limited space in our industrial hall, I was looking for smart transport solutions. The solution was vertical transport, which enabled us to achieve the maximum result within the minimum space’
“The crates with chicken products have to be cleaned and transported. With the crate turning bend, both problems are solved in one go. An ideal construction that I am very happy with’
Crate Turning
A product with an ingenious design in our range is the crate turning bend. The crate turning bend has been developed for industries where the washing process plays an important role. This is the case, for example, with poultry, fish and meat companies, but also with vegetable and fruit processors.
The turning curve turns crates 180 degrees. With the use of this turning bend you save a lot of manpower. Another advantage of the Van Leeuwen Techniek crate turning bend is the open construction.
The loose dirt present falls from the crates and is collected in a waste bin placed under the crate turning bend, or can even be removed by a conveyor belt.
