Cutting and stripping machine for LED strips

 

Triolight makes LED strips that are often placed in large quantities, for example in hotels. The LED strips are supplied on rolls of 50 metres. The strips are cut and stripped to size before use, which means that the rubber and PVC casing is cut off.

Until recently, this laborious job was done manually, because it is a very precise operation. Triolight’s wish: a machine that takes over this task. The cutting and stripping machine designed by the engineers at Van Leeuwen Techniek amply meets this requirement. The LED strips are simply placed in the machine, where the internal blades accurately remove the casing.

The result is an exposed printed circuit board, to which a connector is directly soldered.

As a machine builder specialized in the food industry, the technical professionals of Van Leeuwen Techniek build machines that comply with the HACCP standard. In addition to the hygiene standard, our customers often have specific wishes regarding the use of their machines.

For example, we built a lifting table for a customer to fillet tuna. The table top can be lowered to the floor. Thus, the huge fish can be easily placed on the table. The table top can then be lifted to working height. With hygienic cutting boards on both sides and a built-in hydraulic power pack to be able to place the table at any desired location in the production hall, this lifting table is completely according to the customer’s wishes.

We also built a lifting table for a poultry company. This is used to lift crates from a container. For example, loads of up to 2000 kilograms can be lifted.

We developed a pump system to pump marinade. Besides being very hygienic, of course, the machine is economical and efficient: the machine is built in such a way that residual marinade is reused.

Handling system after injection molding plastic floor tiles

 

We developed a machine for the production process of synthetic tiles on behalf of BTB Moldings. The tiles are formed in a machine by injecting the material into a mold at a high temperature.

The new machine from Van Leeuwen Techniek then transports the tiles via a conveyor belt, cuts off the nozzle and cools the tiles. The latter is done on a water-cooled stainless steel table over which the tiles are transported.

This way the tiles are ready for the next step in the production process and one step closer to their final destination.
