A lot has changed in my work at Van Leeuwen Techniek since I started in 2017. My range of tasks has been expanded to include supporting tasks in various areas. For example, I am active in the field of marketing, the website and other business communications. And together with Bertus van Leeuwen I attend network meetings and focus on sales and researching and tapping into new markets and industries. We are no longer only active in the food sector, but our customer base has been expanded to several other sectors. Thinking in terms of solutions and being open to innovation is in our DNA and that comes in handy with the current expansions!
Do what you like
A lot is possible with us. We think it is important that employees take initiative, so that everyone has the opportunity to make maximum use of their qualities and do what they like. The shift within my own position is a good example of this.
Working atmosphere
This flexibility has two sides: both employees and employers are willing to go the extra mile. This has the additional advantage that unexpectedly taking a day off is almost never a problem. Or if you are limited to certain weeks for your holiday, we will solve that internally. You can imagine that this attitude benefits the working atmosphere. Open, accessible and equal. Our way of working once again underlines the lack of hierarchy at Van Leeuwen Techniek. For example, we all visit trade fairs together. For example, we visit the Utrecht Jaarbeurs for the latest developments. We use the knowledge to shape our investment plans.
Party at Van Leeuwen Techniek
Our company outings are always a party. Bike rides, barbecues in summer and winter, these are memorable moments. The breaks on our working days also have a social character: smartphones are left in their pockets en masse. And how do we end the week? With a beer!
